Successful Student Behaviours

I am always trying to get my students to consider how their behaviour and habits can impact their success as a student, and this found I had a gap on my classroom wall for a display, so I decided to try and put the advice I give into a poster format. This advice isn’t anything new and although it might link to research, I haven’t read anything specific that links to it. When I first posted this to Twitter it received a lot of positive attention, which is why I have decided to do a blog post to share it as well.

You can download the poster using the button below and it comes in editable PowerPoint, PDF and PNG format. The poster was created in A1 size.

What I hope to achieve with this poster is to help students to understand that just because something is hard, or because they don’t get it first time around, it doesn’t equal failure or that they can’t do something but it is part of the learning process.

Having created this I have realised that there are somethings that I need to work on myself, and I will be honest with my students that I am not the perfect student either, and that I am still learning and developing as a student.

I hope that people find the poster useful and please feel free to use however will work for your students.
